Magpie Tales ~ To the Edge!!!

Today's prompt from The Mag 131 is....

Under Windsor Bridge, 1912, by Adolphe Valette

After some tweaking on my part...just for fun...

To the edge

He walked here everyday.
To the edge;
take a look....
nothing!

He walked here everyday.
Taking his time;
hoping that this time....
nothing!

 He walked here everyday.
Listening carefully;
for any sound....
nothing!

He walked here everyday.
Lonely...seeking;
 make contact with....
nothing!

He walked here everyday.
All he ever saw;
reflections...
nothing!

He walked here everyday,
Heeding her call;
knowing she's there....
nothing!

Dreams come.
Her voice so sweet;
hoping to meet....
nothing!

He walks here everyday!!
