Magpie Tales



Surrendered



They coiled around her;
memories and dreams.
Hard to tell the difference;
as they invaded her mind.
Heart ripped asunder;
dreams put on hold.
So she surrenders;
baring her soul.

  9. It is difficult to sleep when you are coiled up in memories and dreams. The tension in the imagery you've created, is easy to relate to. I am empathetic to this little glimpse at sleeplessness. Thank you for sharing.
