Magpie Tales ~ Blowing in the Wind!!!

What a beautiful art piece for our inspiration...given to us from Tess over at The Mag 169!  Here is the wonderful painting...

Lighthouse Dandelions by Jamie Wyeth

Of course I had to play with it...sorry Mr. Wyeth...just so much to work with here.  Beautiful painting!
Here is my take on it...

Blowing in  the Wind

She sat in the window
sensing the change
 blowing in the wind
enfolding her life.

She sat in the window
watching the dandelions
releasing their seed
flowing o'er the field.

She sat in the window
knowing her security
was yet again,
leaving her

She sat in the window
listening to whispers
deafening
filling her mind

She sat in the window
shivering at the memory
of him leaving her side
for the last time.

She sat in the wimdow
alone yet again
watching the dandelions
floating in the wind.

She sat in the window
hard.........cold
sat there till the drug took hold
pitch-black.

A note sat on the desk by the door.....folded,  "I have been here before.  The noise is just too much.  There  is nothing to forgive...just leaving."

Magpie Tales! ~ For Just a Little While!!!

Another wonderful prompt is being offered by Tess at The Mag.  Make sure and stop over and see the other talented answers to this challenge.

Here is the painting....

Spring, 1935 by Kuzma Petrov-Vodin

Here is my take on this painting...

This is the best!

Let us rest here,
for just a little while.
It's a beautiful day!
We just need a little time!
But no time to sleep!
Let us rest here;
as we consider the plan.
She continued to sigh.
I'm just feeling so weary!
 Let us join with the sky!
Let us rest here;
It is the best way!
He took her by the hand.
We shall find that peace!
So tired of this life!
Let us rest here;
and they held each other close.
Time to leave this ledge!
We will enter forever!
 One..two..and three....
And they stood just over here.
Where they leapt from the ledge.
Holding on to each other.
 Meeting their end.

Magpie Tales ~ Now You See Me!!

Time to paint with words!  Visit The Mag and join in the fun.  The painting this week is from one of my favorite artist, Degas!  Here is the pic...

Woman With a Towel, 1898, Edgar Degas

Here  is what I crafted from the painting...

Now you see me!

She stood in the window
moving slowly;
caressing each breast,
enjoying!

She stood in the window
open to the world;
touching each part,
exposing!

She stood in the window
turning slowly;
 lowering the towel,
smiling!

She stood in the window
relishing each touch;
sensing the looks,
pulse rising!

She stood in the window
dropping the towel;
turning forward,
and.....
waving!

Magpie Tales ~ The Portal!

Another adventure into wordsmithing over at The Mag!  What a fun  prompt!

Between Heaven and Hell, 1989 by Jacek Yerka

My take on this rich painting!

The Portal

She roams the night
Senses on fire...
tuned to the tides.
On the edge of sanity.

She roams the night
Shades inky black....
footfalls are silent.
Keen eyes alerted.

She roams the night
Holding the keys....
rattling nerves.
Shackling dreams.

She roams the night
Keen eyes wary....
watching the heavens.
Awaiting any movement.

She roams the night
Silently guarding....
challenging the light.
Fearing no man.

She roams the night
Spying her prey....
what can we say?
She is guarding the night!
